Nursery News
Summer 2007

We already have a number of litters of young kittens, ranging in age from under 1 week to several months old. Most are in the 4-8 week age range, and will begin to become available for adoption toward the end of June. One of our favorite "new baby" pictures is featured at right. This little girl is living in a foster home with her siblings & mom - growing and playing and learning all the things kittens need to learn so they can grow up to be well-adjusted BIG CATS.

Special Message About
Kitten Adoptions!

Most of these kittens are still too small for adoption, but we always have many wonderful cats & kittens who are searching for their "forever" homes right now - click the blue button above to see some of the cats & kittens we have who are available for adoption today:

Cats Available for Adoption

Our webmaster is also a busy foster mom for Cat Angel Network, but she has finally found time to at least add some "Nursery News" pictures for 2007! The kittens shown here only represent a fraction of the total number in our care!

These beautiful little guys have the BIGGEST ears!

Just enough room for two!

Dewie was rescued from a business park in West Chester where the ditch she was
living in was about to be filled in and paved over. She was pregnant at the time.
She went to live in a foster home and had her kittens a month later. There are 5
little peanuts - each one a different color! (And where did that white one come from?!)

This little girl looks just like her mom, and obviously loves her *very* much!

This pair of brothers just love to get into all sorts of trouble together.

One of our volunteers went to the SPCA to adopt a dog... and came
home with a pregnant cat instead. She had 7 beautiful little babies in May.

This little girl already knows she's a BEAUTY-KITTY!
The three pictures below are her littermates.

At left, a row of assorted-sized kittens enjoy the fresh spring air and watch birds out the back door of their foster home. Aloysius, the black & white cat on the far left, is a grown-up permanent resident of the same foster home. He thinks he's a kitten, too!

Note to CAN foster moms (& dads!) - if you have any updates about your little ones for this page, please send them to kirsten@catangel.org, and we'll happily include them so everyone can hear how your little ones are coming along! Comment from the webmaster:  At any time, the cats & kittens
featured on this page are only a fraction of those we have in our care!
