Classes
were presented at the Franklin Elementary School in
Pottstown on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in conjunction with a
fundraiser held by the 1st Grade Classes of Miss Tellis and
Miss Hospador. The children and their teachers were very
proud to present to Cat Angel Network the items they
collected which included cat food, kitty litter, toys, paper
towels, etc. An educational presentation was then made to
the classes which was arranged by Miss Jane Hospador. Jane is one
of CAN's dedicated volunteers and arranged with President
Charlotte Jay to escort Alfie to the school to give classes
on how to care for kitties. Alfie was an excellent
representative to demonstrate the importance of keeping
kitties inside because he was hit by a car and suffered
through five long, painful months of expensive
surgeries, recovery and rehabilitation as a result.
